I’m a Penticton business owner, husband and grandfather — not a politician. I’m running because I care, and I’m not afraid to ruffle feathers to make a difference.
I'm running for Mayor for the citizens of Penticton, including me & my family. I was getting ready to step back from my current position, hoping to retire, do less and travel more — but I feel Penticton needs someone like myself who isn't afraid to ruffle feathers and doesn't have a politician's mindset. If there's one thing I am, it's honest. I decided to run because I care, and I'm going to try and make a difference.
I’ve been married to my wife Stephanie for 35 years, and together we have four adult children and six grandchildren. In 2002 I started Hardrock Diamond Drilling, and over the past 24 years I’ve built it into a very well-established company.
My family also purchased and ran the Penticton Racquet & Fitness Club for about ten years after we bought it in 2008. I’m not a politician — I’m a local business owner and family man, and I want to help make our community better again.

Bike lanes and traffic flow have upset a lot of citizens, and I don't believe the City got it right. We're a town of retirees and tourism — we can do much better at keeping traffic moving and travel easier and safer.
People should feel safe walking downtown or the beach after dark. Crime, policing, repeat offenders and open drug use need to be addressed so our streets and parks are clean and safe.
The encampment problem here mirrors what's happening across BC and Canada. I'll be honest — I don't yet know a mayor's exact powers here, but I'll be out on the streets talking with people to find real answers.
I believe city funds have been wasted. If elected, I'll be learning, digging, and spending responsibly — with no closed-door sessions. It's our tax money, and we should know where it goes.
A mayor should be known for showing up, working hard, and communicating with the community and council. Thank you to this community for the opportunity to earn your trust.
